Juris Investments is a niche investment company that provides
non-recourse advances to accident victims (Claimants) with pending personal
injury and negligence cases.
We have developed a simple approval process that requires minimal
time and effort.
Non-recourse Advances are an Investment, Not a Loan.
If There is No Cash Award the Claimant Owes Juris Investments Nothing!
Any advance is made on a contingency basis. It is a speculative
investment in the future value of a personal injury case. It is not a
loan. The Claimant is not obligated to sign a personal guarantee or to
provide any collateral, other than a security interest and lien on the
proceeds of the claim itself.
We are reimbursed only from the proceeds of the case. The Claimant may
keep the funds advanced by us if he/she loses
the case!
Advances Allow Claimant to Avoid Financial Anxiety
While the Claim is Being Settled!
A personal injury can eliminate or significantly limit a Claimant’s
ability to work. In addition, the related legal claim can take months or
even years to settle.
During this period a Claimant’s living expenses continue while earnings
are reduced and savings disappear. A Claimant may not have sufficient
resources to meet his/her continuing financial obligations or basic living
expenses.
Under this scenario, the financial pressure to settle a case quickly
can be overwhelming. This pressure could encourage insurance companies
and defendants with deep pockets to delay a settlement in order to force
the Claimant to settle the case for less than its true value!
Our clients typically use the advances for day to day living expenses
such as:
Juris Investments will review the financial needs of the Claimant and
tailor the advances accordingly. This could be in the form of a single
advance or in the form of several advances provided on a periodic (e.g.
monthly) basis.

Upon request Juris Investments will work with a Claimant and his or her
attorney to create a budget the Claimant can use while the case is being
settled.
Application Process is Easy - Funds Can be
Transferred within 24 Hours After Approval!
To begin the process the Claimant should
complete an application.
Juris Investments encourages the Claimant or the Claimant’s attorney to call us for
assistance in filling out the application and/or to answer any questions.
If we decide to make a cash advance we will enter into an Investment Agreement with
the Claimant.
Approval and transfer of funds are generally made within 24 to 48 hours
after the necessary papers are signed and we review the related records in the
case.
This review includes conversations with Claimant’s attorney and
inspection of documents that substantiate the claim. (e.g. police reports,
accident
reports, medical reports, insurance coverage verification, etc.)
Funding Limits and Costs.
There are no upfront fees.
Juris Investments will generally advance up to 10% - 15% of a claim’s
projected settlement, depending on the specific facts and circumstances.
It is our policy to advance only those funds necessary to meet a
Claimant’s current financial obligations and living expenses.
The rate of return typically ranges between 2.5 to 4 percent per
month and there is a processing fee of generally $350.00. The processing fee and any other amounts are due and payable to
us only when the case is settled and the proceeds are distributed by
Claimant’s attorney.
The rate of return reflects the risky nature of the investment. We
encourage all Claimants to pursue conventional financing before utilizing
our services.
We will provide periodic updates on the contingent amount potentially
owed to us and may request status update reports from the Claimant’s
attorney.
Juris Investments does not in any way interfere with the attorney’s
handling of the case. The decision on how to proceed with the case is
completely under the control of the Claimant in consultation with his/her
attorney. Juris Investments has no authority regarding Claimant’s decision
of whether and how to proceed with the case.
