Q:
How Much of a Cash Advance will Juris Investments make?
Our cash advances range from $500 to $100,000. Historically, most of
our advances have ranged between $1,000 and $7,500. The total cash
advances are generally limited to 10% - 15% of your projected settlement
value, depending on the facts of your case and your financial needs.
It is our policy to advance only those funds necessary to meet a
Claimant’s current financial obligations and living expenses.
Upon request, Juris Investments also provides a free financial advisory
service to help you determine your financial needs and will even create a
budget to follow until your claim is settled.
We can structure the cash advance as one lump sum or periodic payments
over time.

Q:
What Is My Obligation to Repay the Cash Advance
A cash advance is not a loan. The advances are considered to be a
speculative investment in the potential settlement proceeds of your claim.
Since Juris Investments is considered to be an investor in your case we
assume the risk of loss.
When we provide you with a cash advance, we file a lien on the potential
proceeds of your claim with your attorney. If your claim is successful,
your attorney will repay us only out of your settlement proceeds.
If you lose your case you owe us nothing and you keep the cash advance.

Q:
Do I Have to Pay Any Upfront Fees or Other Charges?
No. As discussed in the question above, all amounts owed to Juris
Investments are paid only out of the proceeds from your settlement claim.
Generally, there is a processing fee of approximately $350, but this
is only paid to us if and when you settle your claim.
Prior to providing you with an advance we will also provide you with a
summary schedule that clearly and fully discloses
all amounts owed to us if your claim is successful.

Q: Is this Expensive?
At Juris Investments we strive to provide the lowest cost to you on a
cash advance as compared to our competitors. Our rates generally range
from 2.5% to 4.5% per month, plus any processing fees and origination
charges.
However, due to the complexities and level of risk associated with
investments in injury claims, the costs of a cash advance from Juris
Investments is more expensive than traditional financing, for example from
a bank or credit union.
For this reason we encourage you to investigate all other financing
options, such as a financial institution and family members.
However, remember that any amount received from a financial institution is
considered to be a loan. This will require you to pay back the loan even
if you are unsuccessful with your case. At Juris investments you are
obligated to repay us only out of the proceeds of your case and you pay us
nothing back if you lose your case.
As discussed above, we provide a free consulting service to
create a monthly budget of your financial needs and advance you funds as
they are needed. This gives you financial peace of mind and minimizes the
amount owed to us upon settlement of your claim.

left up to you, in consultation with your attorney.
